Big Way Hot Pot is a self-serve pay by weight restaurant. The unique system makes it a entertaining dining experience.
Presentation is like a grocery store! The selection is large, and there are a few unique items. Remember it is Pay by weight! Choose wisely!
On the menu – The noodle selection is surprising. Pumpkin noodles, Spinach noodles, Buckwheat, PURPLE YAM noodle.
A few of the premium items included: crab, abalone, craw fish, snakehead fish slices, ribeye rolls, and FROG LEGS!
Seafood selection fish balls, scallops, mussels, clams, cuttlefish, shrimp, squid and more!
After choosing your food it’s time to Choose your Broth and pay.
Different flavours, and levels of spiciness. Flavours like Tom Yum, Collagen Bone Broth, and Signature.

The Hot Pot is not cooked at your table.
FREE Jasmine Green Tea included for Happy Hour. Happy Hour is actually more than an hour. It starts early at 11AM goes to 5PM! Ice Cream is also included!
While waiting for the kitchen to finish cooking your hot pot, you can pick from condiments and toppings. Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Chili Oil and more.
Signature Ma La Tang Hot Pot with shrimp, beef, pork belly, oyster mushroom, crab, crawfish, and FROG LEG and spinach noodle. Medium spice broth.
Includes plastic gloves for the shellfish.
Crab, and crawfish can get messy.
PRICE:
$$ WEIGH and PAY. Expect around $20+ per bowl.
QUALITY:
OK! Nice combination of flavour. Medium spice is not too spicy. Not too much meat on the crab and crawfish but they add flavour to the broth. Recommend scallops instead!

GOOD! Friendly and helpful.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. If you’re looking for something fun and different, Big Way Hot Pot provides an entertaining hot pot experience with some unique eats like FROG LEGS! Good location in downtown Vancouver near Granville. There’s a lot on the menu for one visit. Would return to try more of the offerings.
