The Captain’s Boil a popular Cajun / Asian seafood chain restaurant across Canada. This is a new location in East Vancouver on Kingsway.

What we ordered:
Oysters – 6 piece order – $16
-Oysters were served on ice. Ok portion. Comes with lime, and dip.
Chicken Teriyaki Sizzling Plate Combo $12 (includes 2 shrimp, 2 mussel, 2 crawfish, 2 clam. Not included after 4PM)
– Comes with a scoop of steamed rice. Chicken pieces are good but are a little small. The seafood variety is good.

Fish Teriyaki Sizzling Plate Combo $12 (includes 2 shrimp, 2 mussel, 2 crawfish, 2 clam. Not included after 4PM)
– Comes with a scoop of steamed rice. Breaded fish is good, but pieces are a little small. The seafood variety is good.

Calamari $12.50
-Ok seasoning. Some pieces might have been a little over fried. but good overall. Different from Greek Calamari.

Seafood Fried Rice $12
-Good portion size. Filling. Similar to Chinese shrimp fried rice.

Value: $$ Average.
Quality: Good. Tasty, oily, salty.
Service: Prompt service.

Overall good experience, fun for the family, and friends. Good place if you are craving seafood. This place gets popular on the weekend.
