Shabusen is a local favorite. The restaurant is one of the original AYCE sushi destinations in Vancouver! They made it through the pandemic, and are still serving up delicious eats.

Shabusen has new managers that are friendly and helpful. They also ditched the Escolar fish, and have put tuna back on the menu.
PRICE:
$$ FAIR PRICE. Affordable weekday prices. Slightly higher on weekends and holidays.
QUALITY:
GOOD! Good sashimi temperature. Fair portion size of Nigiri rice and fish. Karaage, Tempura, and other kitchen cooked dishes were served hot, fresh. Overall, tasty!
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly. Fast clearing of plates.
VERDICT:
Overall, VERY SATISFIED. Shabusen is BACK! New managers, and tuna is back on the menu. Shabusen is good for the whole family with lots of the menu.
