Marugame is known for FRESH udon noodles, made in the restaurant in front of the customer!
The restaurant is CAFETERIA style. Order first, grab a tray and choose your tempura, pay last! Udon prices range from $7-$14.

$$ Expect to spend $20 per person.
QUALITY:
OK! Portion size is small. The noodles are fresh tasting with a bit of chewiness. The server advised that soup should be consumed quickly after ordering so the noodles don’t get soft.
Tempura was not too crispy. A bit soggy as it is displayed on the cafeteria.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly and helpful. A bit of a wait to get soup. On this day, the DEBIT machine didn’t work, causing a bit of a wait.
VERDICT:
SATISFIED! Marugame Udon is a nice option for FAST FOOD style Japanese soup, and tempura, but with FRESH prepared noodles. The prices are just right, but the portion size is a bit small. Nice to have Japanese food right in this busy area by the Skytrain.
