Stuffies Pastries is NOW OPEN in Burnaby at Metropolis at Metrotown! Stuffies first opened in North Vancouver and is a Vancouver company that specializes in the Korean Stuffed Waffle also known as BUNGEOPPANG. This is the newest location with more to open!
Stuffies is known for stuffed waffles shaped like Bears and Fish similar to Taiyaki. Unlike a traditional pastry shop Stuffies sells coffee, sandwiches, ice cream, and CRO-TAI, a stuffed flattened croissant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! WATCH OUT TIM HORTONS!
What is this displayed in the window of the store? This unique machine is patented technology from South Korea. Stuffies is the only one to have this automated waffle maker. You can watch the making process from batter to cooked. Very fun to watch!
The flavors they use change every week. You can get regular or more fancy with sprinkles and dip. Instead of red bean common in Taiyaki, at Stuffies it’s custard.
When ordering at the counter the server will ask you if you want it FRESH! Definitely, get it fresh!
You can also buy day old pastries at a lower cost. That’s pretty good instead of wasting food!

QUALITY:
GOOD! Good Portion size! SERVED HOT and FRESH if you go during opening or busy times. The dough is mild, the flavours come from the stuffing, and extras like dip, sprinkles. The Cro-Tai is good and filling. Breakfast sausage and cheese is greasy like Tim Hortons or McDonald’s sandwich.

Overall, SATISFIED. Stuffies is a refreshing unique business. Entertaining to watch the process, and you can see it made fresh. Affordable snack, convenient location and good menu offered.
