Yugo Roll + Bowl is now open at TABLES food court at The Amazing Brentwood. Yugo specializes in Japanese Cuisine featuring Aburi Oshi Sushi a different kind of sushi! TORCHED sushi.
Yugo has a good menu of rolls and bowls, with delicious ingredients. Salmon, Black Cod, Short Rib, Foie Gras bowls! Tiger Prawn, Hamachi, Wagyu sushi! Pretty premium items!
Definitely, prepared fresh as you can see from the open kitchen. That’s a LEGIT TORCH!

Salmon Torched Sushi $11
6 pieces of salmon with mayo torched and topped with jalapeno slices. Bite size pieces melt in your mouth. Tasty and not too spicy. Came with ginger, but no soy sauce.
A nice feature of The Amazing Brentwood is this plaza. Take your food outside and enjoy this nice plaza with Skytrain access. Tables with umbrellas and there’s a Starbucks and McDonald’s.
PRICE:
$$ FAIR PRICE. Affordable. Salmon Sushi is usually not cheap, but the price here is ACCEPTABLE. Foie Gras, Wagyu premium items cost more.
QUALITY:
OK! Six pieces might not be enough to fill you up but it’s tasty with nice flavor and mouth melting texture.
SERVICE:
OK! Easy to order, but was told 20 minutes wait to get food! Too long a wait for busy lunch goers. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
VERDICT:
Overall, SLIGHTLY SATISFIED. Yugo serves up unique Japanese eats, that will satisfy sushi fans. The menu looks good to try more than once, but the wait to get food can be too long. Hopefully they improve.
