NEW CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH

NEW at Costco! CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH! Costco is joining the Chicken Sandwich trend. Chicken sandwiches are very popular thanks to the hype around Popeyes Chicken. The Costco Crispy Chicken is at Vancouver location and not available at all Costcos.

Crispy Chicken Sandwich $4.89
Spicy Mayo, Kirkland brand cheese bun, and chicken.
Costs more than a hot dog, but less than the Chicken Strips and Fries. It is cheaper than Popeyes, KFC, or 7-Eleven.

PRICE:
$ FAIR PRICE. Not as cheap as the hot dog and no fries or drink included.

QUALITY:
BAD! Cheese bun and chicken tastes OK but the quality is poor. Lots of batter, flattened chicken, very little meat. Not made fresh. Cheese bun was hard, and dry. Chicken was overcooked, dry from sitting under warmer with large chunks of hard batter. It was like eating rocks! Be careful you might break a tooth! No pickle slice or other veggie.

SERVICE:
BAD! Slow service when there were no other customers!

VERDICT:
Overall, NOT SATISFIED. Costco’s attempt at a chicken sandwich seems like a good idea but at $5 per sandwich, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich is a disappointing, uninspired mess. Skip this sandwich and go for the Chicken Strips and Fries.
