Johnny Rockets! There are two locations in Vancouver and two in Victoria. Like Five Guys, Johnny Rockets is a American fast food chain serving the All-American fast food fare – Burger, Fries, Shakes and HOT DOGS. The location in this video is at OAK and BROADWAY.
Johnny Rockets has under $10 burgers. Cheapest burger starts at $6.99! Unlike Five Guys, Johnny Rockets has chicken grilled or crispy, and even plant based patty. They even have onion rings, zucchini, and mozza sticks. The hot dogs are Nathan’s Famous brand.
That’s a lot of lettuce! The lettuce is nicely shredded too. Who said hamburgers were not healthy! Other burger joints put very little lettuce. The beef patties are cooked well, and there’s nice relish, and chopped onion.
FUNIONS 1/2 fires, 1/2 onion rings $5.99
Yes you can order half fries and half onion rings. For the price of the Funions you could order another burger!
PRICE:
$-$$ FAIR PRICE. Under $10 burgers. Cheaper than Five Guys!
QUALITY:
GOOD! Good portion size. Flat patties cooked well. Not the most seasoned patties but still tasty. Lots of veggies and tasty relish and chopped onions. The bun was soft and airy. The onion rings were crunchy on the outside and soft inside.
OK. The fries were nothing special. They have malt vinegar packets!
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly. Cashier is patient when customer is deciding. Food served to table during Dine In. Nice location very spacious with POWER OUTLETS at tables. Clean bathroom.
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Johnny Rockets has good prices, good burgers. Would return to try more of their menu and use their Power Outlets.
