Last Walking Tour of 2020!
Granville Island Public Market recorded on December 28, 2020. Many people out and about enjoying the holiday break. Masks are Mandatory inside! During the pandemic PARKING IS FREE!

Christmas lights display is still up at Granville Island. The lights displays are placed throughout the area outside the market and are best viewed at night. In this video we walk through and around the Public Market.

Siegel’s Bagels

Siegel’s Bagels has an awesome oven and you can watch the bagel making process.

This part of Granville Island Public Market is the main food hall or food court. Most of the seating has been removed. Only a few tables remain. Here you will find International cuisine: Chinese, Greek, Mexican, and more. Even salad bar and juice!

Large star display for Granville Island Christmas event. The star is very cool and beautiful at night. For Hanukkah December 10 – December 18, the star was blue. Perfect spot for selfie!

The seagulls at Granville Island have become more aggressive this year! Less tourists means less food. Do not feed the birds! Do not leave food unattended. Do no wave around your food. They have been known to attack at random!

There are many shops and more restaurants outside the Public Market. Granville Island Brewery is a popular destination for beer!

A mini-skate park installed at Granville Island in November 2019. The carvings on the poles were originally carved in 2000 by students from Emily Carr University. The carvings were restored by Squamish Nation artist Xwalacktun (Rick Harry).

This artwork is called Giants from Brazilian twin artists Osgemeos. You cannot go close to this public art since it is on a worksite of Ocean Concrete. It was painted in 2014. Popular spot for selfies! Notice the Christmas decorations on the truck.

Granville Island during the holidays is definitely worth a visit!
