Boston Pizza at Station Square in Burnaby is a open during the pandemic. This location has been open for a few years, and is part of the rebuilt Station Square plaza next to Metropolis at Metrotown.
Boston Pizza is a chain of Canadian sports bar restaurants serving beer, burgers, pizza, pasta and more with a big focus on sports. They have a bar area, and large TVs perfect for groups, and families.
Boston Pizza has no Bostonian cuisine or ties to the American city. The restaurant started in Edmonton, Alberta in the 1960s by a Gus Agioritis a Greek immigrant to Canada. He just happened to like the sound of BOSTON.
Tropical Chicken Pizza $17.29
Gluten Free Cauliflower crust pizza. Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, bacon, chicken, pineapple.
Mediterranean Pizza $12 (Friday Special Price)
Signature pizza sauce, mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, feta and a pesto drizzle.

YUP THEY CHARGE FOR HOT SAUCE!
Looks like burgers at Boston Pizza are boiled / steamed… Definitely not grilled. The burger lacks flavour and is quite bland. The bun was dry. The cheese was not melted because the burger was not hot. The quality of the meat patty seems very cheap.
PRICE:
$$ AFFORDABLE but not cheap. Similar to Cactus Club and Earls. Expect to pay around $20+ per person with tax and tip, and extras.
QUALITY:
OK! The pizzas are small and just OK..
The burgers at Boston Pizza are bland and not good. The cheese was not melted. Bread didn’t taste fresh and was bland, dry.
SERVICE:
OK! Strange service. Slow when the restaurant was empty. Friendly server. Strange presentation GIANT plates for SMALL food.
VERDICT:
Overall, NOT SATISFIED. You get very little at Boston Pizza but you pay quite a lot. The pizza has good toppings but will leave you hungry. The burger is just bad!
