LIKED: The Market and Deli is a nice experience with cheap paninis.
DISLIKED: Cucina has good food selection but strange service.
Cioffi’s Italian Market and Deli in Burnaby has been around since 1990! It is a local favorite of the Italian community with imported products, meats and cheeses from local vendors, and Panini sandwiches made to order!
The sandwiches at Cioffi’s are Panini sandwiches. The menu is simple, sandwiches and soup but with a choice of any meats at the deli, and cheese. There a lot to choose at the deli! At the time of this video Wagyu Beef was on special.

Coffi’s Cucina is the take-out restaurant portion of Coffi’s next door. It has an open kitchen with cooks preparing dishes in front of the customer.
A few items you can order at Cucina: pasta, pizza, ribs, and roasted veggies and more. All hot foods displayed on the counter behind glass.

Market and Deli: small panini but good ingredients.
Cucina: Hot foods, ribs and veggies, and pizza were just ok. Not sure if it is all Italian recipes.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Market and Deli: friendly.
BAD! Cucina: Strange attitude towards customers, and treated rudely for taking pictures.The food is made in front of the customer in a open kitchen but the staff don’t like any pictures.
VERDICT:
Overall, MILDLY SATISFIED. Cioffi’s is a nice local Italian business with a deli and cafe. The Market and Deli is definitely worth checking out. Cioffi’s Cucina is a nice-looking shop with ok food and strange customer service.
