POWELL STREET FEST 2019

 

Powell Street Festival is Vancouver’s best and largest celebration of Japanese culture and heritage in the city. This year it was held on August 3 and August 4. A 2-Day Street Party!

This is the 43rd Annual Powell Street Festival and it featured a new event layout. This year it was hosted completely in the streets!
Previously Powell Street Festival used Oppenheimer Park.

Live music, performances, vendors, martial arts, FOOD and more!
You really will have lots to see and do at this unique event.

$-$$ Affordable. Fair Price at various vendors.

QUALITY:
Good! Depends on the vendor but overall good experience. Hot food was hot. Cold drink was cold.

SERVICE:
Very good. Well run. Well organized. Clean for the most part. Friendly. Everyone is having fun at the Powell Street Fest. Free water fountain thanks to the City of Vancouver.

VERDICT:
Powell Street Festival is the best, and largest Japanese culture festival in Vancouver. A tradition year after year. Lots of food. Lots of entertainment. Lots of education for 2 DAYS!
