Grand Villa Casino, offered a FREE Thanksgiving
Buffet for Encore members on Oct 7, and Oct 8.
Basically, you have to spend money at the casino to get the complimentary buffet. Your dollars/ points are calculated each time you use the Encore Player’s card in a slot machine or table.
The free buffet was/is VERY POPULAR.
Free food, a perfect way to get people in the casino.
The problem: Over 1-2 Hour wait to put your name on a wait-list,
followed by a 2-hour wait to get a table.
While waiting for the ‘FREE’ buffet, you end up spending money. Like a $6 beer at the bar or playing slots or tables.
The buffet opened at 4pm and at 6pm
the line was cut off and people were turned away!
Inside the FREE buffet, a nice variety of holiday dishes.
Ham, turkey, salmon, pork chops, and more. No Beef Roast.
The Buffet at Grand Villa is small, with limited seating.
The amount of food is ok. Desserts, drinks, cold, and hot food.
No sushi at this buffet.
PRICE:
The buffet is valued at $20. FREE with Encore Membership (Player’s card).
QUALITY:
All You Can Eat! OK sized Buffet. OK quality.
Turkey and pork chops were dry.
Ham, salmon, pasta were good.
SERVICE:
Extremely slow getting a table.
Food was replenished.
VERDICT:
Not the best quality but it is ‘FREE’ All You Can Eat Buffet,
Membership required. Very busy. Good for stuffing your face.
Show up very early before dinner hour 4pm.
