Gutom Staff UNCLE TETSU’S JAPANESE CHEESECAKE
Uncle Tetsu’s Japanese Cheesecake is officially open at Metrotown Mall in Burnaby. The international franchise has legions of fans waiting 2 hours in line just to get a taste of Japanese style delight, and other baked goods on their menu.
The Japanese Cheesecake is the obvious star of the show. It can be best described as light, and melts in your mouth.
1 cheesecake is $13.00 and is good for 2 or 3 people.
The Honey Madeleines 4-pack is $7.50.
These Madeleines, were not warm, or soft at the time. They were more like muffins.
The Rusks, were unavailable/sold out at the time of this video.
Be prepared to wait almost 2 hours in line.
Overall this is a nice unique dessert that is a welcome addition.
