Popeyes NEW Chicken Sandwich is HERE! After much hype in the USA in 2019, it is now being sold in Canada as of Sept 2020. There are only a few Popeyes locations in the Lower Mainland. There are NO Popeyes locations in Vancouver. You have to go to Surrey or Coquitlam.

Popeyes Chicken Sandwich is noticeably bigger than the KFC Famous Chicken. Both are boneless chicken breast patties. Popeyes is more breaded with crunchy chunks.

Pickles and sauce are a big part of Southern Fried Chicken sandwiches. Looks like both Popeyes and KFC put similar amount of sauce, but different amount of pickles!
PORTION!
Popeyes is the larger
chicken sandwich!
Popeyes flattens the chicken to give it a wider appearance, while KFC is thick like a chicken breast. KFC also has a softer bun, while Popeyes appears more dense. Flavours are both different. KFC has KFC flavour. Popeyes has Louisiana seasoning.

Good breading crunchy. Some pieces were more moist than others. Some pieces like the drumsticks seemed smaller than KFC or Churchs.
