The Vancouver Vaisakhi parade is a free fun family event in South Vancouver. Parade floats, food and snacks, and car free walking streets at 49th and Fraser, and 49th and Main Street.
Taking place 57th to 49th streets on Fraser and Main. The parade makes it’s way around a large section of South Vancouver.

The 2026 Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade takes place on Saturday, April 11, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting at the Khalsa Diwan Society (Ross Street Sikh Temple) at 8000 Ross St. As one of the largest Sikh celebrations in the world, the parade features vibrant floats, music, and free food (langar) to mark the harvest festival.

Time: The parade runs from roughly 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 5 p.m..
Start/End Point: Ross Street Sikh Temple (8000 Ross St, Vancouver).
Route: The procession traditionally moves from Ross Street, along 57th Avenue, up Main Street, along 49th Avenue, down Fraser Street, back to 57th Avenue and returns to the Temple.
Highlights: Hundreds of thousands of attendees, colorful processions, and free food provided by local businesses and residents.
Transit: Expect major road closures in the South Vancouver area; utilizing public transit is recommended.
