Panda Pancakes and Ice Cream is NOW OPEN at Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby. Panda Pancakes is a cafe with pastries, ice cream, and mini pancakes that come with a variety of toppings.
Panda Pancakes is a franchise with locations in the US. This is the first location in BC and it happens to be in Burnaby.

Located next to Chipotle, across from the Skytrain Central Blvd entrance.
Panda Pancakes features Rocky Point Ice Cream and JJ Bean Coffee. Two popular LOCAL brands.
The main feature is the mini pancakes. They are made fresh to order, small, but have a nice texture. You can customize your own or go with one of their creations.

Mixed Berries $7.99
Maple syrup and mixed berries (raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries) and whipped cream. (Starts at 15 pcs)
Cappuccino $4.25
The Mixed Berries is a good choice for a light, breakfast-style pancake. There are sweeter choices on the menu that are more of dessert pancakes.
- Drip warning! Just be warned the fruits used might be a bit watery. Most likely they use frozen fruits that could be watery. The container it’s served in is not the best for the syrups or fruits and will drip!
Overall, Affordable.
Panda Pancakes offers something different by combining pancakes, coffee, and ice cream. It’s nice to have Rocky Point Ice Cream, by the scoop and PINTs at the mall. Nice place to enjoy a hot or cold treat. You’ll want to try it all and take it home.
They also offer pancake mix, croissants, and other pastries which are most likely not baked in house.
