Erbil Restaurant is coming soon to The Crystal Mall in Burnaby. Located next to Erbil Barbershop on the outside of the mall, entrance on Kingsway. This is the second Erbil Restaurant in the Lower Mainland. The other location is at Commercial Drive and has been very popular with over 600 google reviews.

Erbil Restaurant serves middle eastern – Iraqi, Turkish, Kurdish, Persian. Looks like the images on the window are a type of Kebab and rice plates known as Kofta kabab.
Nice to see more diverse cuisines in the Metrotown area and at Crystal Mall.

Erbil, also called Hawler, is the capital and most populated city in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq
Erbil is the romanization of the city’s Ottoman Turkish name اربيل,[18] still used as the city’s name in official English translation.[19] The Modern Standard Arabic form of the name is Arbīl (أربيل).[20] In classical antiquity, it was known as Arbela in Latin and Arbēla (Ἄρβηλα) in Greek, derived from Old Persian Arbairā (𐎠𐎼𐎲𐎡𐎼𐎠𐏓), from Assyrian Arbaʾilu,[21][22] from Sumerian Urbilum (𒌨𒉈𒈝𒆠, ur-bi₂-lumki).[23]
