Canada Together Canada Place

July 1, 2025
Time: 11am – 6pm

We are so excited to welcome everyone back to Canada Place on July 1!

2025 marks the 39thannual event at Canada Place, which has historically been the largest Canada Day event outside of Ottawa. It is also the fourth year since the event made its debut as Canada Together. Canada Togetheris planned collaboratively with representatives from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. From programming to the name and theme itself, the details of the day are carefully considered to create a welcoming experience for all people who live in this country.

The theme of the event, “Weaving together the fabric of a nation,” was chosen to honour Canada’s diversity and set an intention for the day to gather, celebrate, learn, and share. Weaving is a common activity across many cultures and is a metaphor for the way that beauty, strength, and wisdom from the past can combine through multiple perspectives to create something meaningful for today and tomorrow.

The celebration will feature live music on multiple stages, a citizenship ceremony welcoming 30 new Canadians, a Kids’ Zone, a Port Community Zone, a new Indigenous Marketplace, as well as performers, exhibitors, and food trucks.
