There’s a new casual dining restaurant coming soon to Burnaby. Birdies Eats and Drinks takes over the old Earls at Lougheed Hwy and Boundary Rd.
The website says
“BIRDIES EATS & DRINKS IS A CALIFORNIA-INSPIRED CONCEPT”
Not much is known about this restaurant but apparently Birdies is a new concept owned by Earls. They don’t even mention Earls on the website.
The California theme is probably a ‘surfer dude’ version of Earls – margaritas, tacos, surf and turf.
The real question is will BIRDIES decorate the restaurant with BIRDS like the original Earls restaurant in the 90s?

Birdies Eats and Drinks is expected to open in June 2023.
Birdies is located next to another new restaurant Happy Valley Food City. This area at Lougheed Hwy and Boundary Rd is getting revitalized and will soon be a popular destination for lunch and nights out.
