A nice restaurant that looks fancy but the prices are affordable. The meal includes a water jug, and a small salad.
Chaozhou Fried Cakes of Meat $9.69
Crispy and delicious comes with a side of dipping sauce.
Special Hot Wonton Soup $16.99
Delicious wontons made in house. Unique flavour and toppings different from typical wonton soup.
Noodles were added to the order.
$$ FAIR PRICE. Affordable and similar price to other soup resturants like Pho or Taiwanese Beef Noodle.
GOOD! Tasty. Good portion size with nice preparation, and presentation. The flavour is tasty and the soup had lots of chili oily but it wasn’t very spicy. The noodles are nice and abundant. The Meat cakes were delicious served hot and crispy.
GOOD! Friendly service with a smile and good attitude! Includes water and salad.
Overall, SATISFIED. Cixi is a nice place for unique dishes, and to try different flavours. Chaoshan cuisine is definitely different from typical Chinese cuisine. The wontons and meat cakes are definitely worth trying!
