Something is happening at the old Kingsway Sushi space at Kingsway and Boundary. There’s construction happening!
Could Kingsway Sushi be coming back or is a new restaurant moving in?
Will the new restaurant be All You Can Eat Sushi or something completely different?
Kingsway Sushi was reported to be permanently closed in December 2020.
Kingsway Sushi was one of 5 popular All You Can Eat Sushi restaurants in the Vancouver area. They offered Lunch and Dinner AYCE. Since closing, Tomokazu, Shabusen, and Richmond Sushi Ninkazu remained while Kyo Sushi closed permanently.
Recently, Tomokazu cut their lunch menu and only offer dinner. Richmond Sushi Ninkazu is only open for Lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Leaving SHABUSEN the only one to offer AYCE Sushi at LUNCH.
It would be a miracle if Kingsway Sushi reopened! It would also be a miracle if the next restaurant to follow Kingsway Sushi was also ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI!
