Richmond Public Market is one of Richmond’s oldest markets. It is similar to Robson Public Market in design and has a food court worth checking out. There is an entrance at Westminster Highway if you’re walking from Richmond-Brighouse station.
If you’re driving the parking garage entrance can be accessed from Cooney Rd., or Buswell St. Level 2 of the car parking garage connects directly to the food court!

$10 Meal Combos are popular at Richmond Public Market! The food is displayed fresh and served cafeteria take-out style (in Filipino ‘TURO TURO’). Different vendors offer different items, so be sure to look at each before choosing. Here you can get a soup OR tea with your meal.

The food court is on one side of the upper level of the Richmond Public Market. The lower level is shops, butcher, seafood, bakery.
Richmond Public Market celebrated 25th Anniversary in 2019! It is now 2021 making the Richmond Public Market 27 years old! It opened in 1994! The market still looks like it’s in the 90s! The glass ceiling is pretty unique!

Overall, the Richmond Public Market is a great food court with local businesses offering VERY AFFORDABLE, authentic and delicious cuisines. Definitely worth checking out more than once!

GOOD! Friendly. CASH ONLY. Tea or Soup is included with the combos but should include both! Tony’s Chinese Cuisine gives samples!
VERDICT:
Overall, VERY SATISFIED. Richmond Public Market has good eats with good prices, free parking and close to transit. There’s lots to try at this food court. Though, Hong Kong Cafeteria didn’t seem as cheap or as good as the HK vendors at Crystal Mall, and there’s no dumplings vendor making it fresh for the customer to see like at Crystal Mall.
