Hon’s Wonton House at Olympic Village!
Located at East 2nd street near Science World. Hon’s is a Vancouver original, known for noodles, potstickers, and All Day Dim Sum. This location is the first of the new ‘modern’ Hon’s Wonton Houses.
Hon’s Wonton House locations are small compared to what Hon’s used to be, and there’s no army of servers running around. The Olympic Village location is different from Hon’s on Broadway with a more street food vibe and presentation with low tables and stools.
The menu at Hon’s is affordable and simplified compared to traditional Cantonese restaurants.

6 pieces. Hon’s Famous Potstickers comes with Hon’s pink ginger vinegar.

Generous portion with veggies, wonton, beef cubes, and noodles.
BBQ Pork Wonton Noodle with Wide Noodles $11
Nice slices of BBQ Pork, and wontons! The wide noodles are no extra charge.
Beef Broccoli Combo $13.50
Comes with a big bowl of steamed white rice and a large Milk Tea!
Hon’s uses FRIED GARLIC AND SESAME! Different recipes from the original Hon’s but pretty good!
Don’t forget the CHILI OIL to spice things up!

$-$$ FAIR PRICE. AFFORDABLE. Good prices!
QUALITY:
GOOD! Good portion size, served steaming hot!
Noodles cooked well, good amount of beef, BBQ pork, veggies and wontons. Good size of milk tea in to-go cup with PAPER Straw. Good rice bowl portion, and beef broccoli. Potstickers could be hotter.
SERVICE:
GOOD! Friendly, and fast with lots of tea refills and to-go box. More friendly than Hon’s Broadway.
The beef broccoli was a kitchen mistake, the dish should have been Sweet and Sour Pork Combo!
VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Good portions, prices and service. Fast service they might make a mistake when busy. Enjoyed this location more than East Broadway.
