BUBBLE WAFFLE CAFE – RICHMOND CENTRE – CHINESE FOOD HONG KONG STYLE

GOOD: Combo deals. Portion size and price.

BAD: Bubble waffle is not included with the combo.

EMPTY MALL!
Richmond Centre is PARTIALLY OPEN during the pandemic. The mall is located just south of Vancouver, and not far from Vancouver Airport. Richmond Centre has been around since 1980.

The food court at Richmond Centre is open but the majority of vendors are closed. The seating area and most of the food court is blocked off. At the time of this video at noon, there were only TWO vendors open!
Bubble Waffle Cafe and Edo Japan.

BUBBLE WAFFLE CAFE
Open for Take-out and Delivery and the food is very popular! Their menu has a good Combo with Noodle Soup, and Milk Tea (hot or cold)! The Bubble Waffle is an extra charge.

Hainanese Boneless Chicken and Rice $10.95

With COLD Milk Tea

Chicken Laksa Noodle Soup $10.95

With HOT Milk Tea

Waffle $1.50

Gutom had to stop filming.

STOPPED BY SECURITY!
“NO EATING INSIDE THE FOOD COURT!” says the mall cop at Richmond Centre. So, Gutom took Take-Out OUTSIDE!

The security thought we were eating inside the food court!

PRICE:
$$ AFFORDABLE. Fair price. Around $10 for the Combo.

QUALITY:
GOOD! Portion size of the soup was filling. Good portion of chicken with the noodles. The Bubble Waffle was large, and the milk tea was good. The Cold milk tea is served in a large cup.

SERVICE:
OK. Fast to take order. Very busy their phone was ringing with orders. The person working said that business was doing good!

VERDICT:
Overall, SATISFIED. Gutom reviewed Bubble Waffle Cafe in Metrotown and enjoyed it. This location in Richmond Centre is consistent with the Metrotown location. Good portions, price, made to order.
