Castella Cheesecake on Robson Street in downtown Vancouver serves Japanese Style Cheesecake Souffles, Cheese Tarts and soft serve Buttermilk ice cream, coffee and tea.

Castella Cheesecake Souffle is $13.65 and comes in one 7″ size.
The Cheese Tarts come in 3 varieties: Original, Original Baked, and Chocolate.

Cheese Tart $3.50 each.

Baked for delicious texture on the top.

PRICE:
$-$$ Affordable. $13+ for Castella Cheesecake it is a little more expensive than Uncle Tetsu’s.

QUALITY:
Good. The Cheesecake is more spongy than Uncle Tetsu’s.
The Cheese Tarts are delicious.

SERVICE:
Friendly server and knowledgeable about the process of making Castella Cheesecake. Not busy at the time of this video.

VERDICT:
Castella Cheesecake is a nice place to get dessert in downtown Vancouver. They have their own unique take on Japanese style cheesecake. Though the cheesecake is the main focus here, the Cheese Tarts at Castella are the real winner.
