Vancouver Chinatown Festival August 10, 2019.
This event takes place at Keefer, and Columbia around the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden, in Vancouver’s Chinatown. A nice event with live entertainment, food, and various vendors.
A few of the food vendors here can be found at other festivals. Japadog is always a festival favorite.
The Shaolin Kung Fu team put on an impressive demonstration.
The Vancouver Chinatown Festival is a good cultural festival. The stage has a impressive big screen and profession sound system not common at other Cultural festivals. Lots of performances on stage and games to play to keep the whole family entertained.
The festival only covers a small part of Chinatown, and doesn’t go on Pender and other areas that might be unsafe.
It’s hard to find parking so be prepared to pay for street parking or in a parkade.
