This business opened in January and has grown ever since.
Gutom was invited to check out The Highlight Cafe by Re-Up, in Uptown New Westminster, the sister restaurant to Re-Up BBQ at River Market Quay.
The Highlight Cafe or known simply as Highlight has a large menu and a bright space to enjoy delicious breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee and more. It is cafe style which means you order at the counter.
A Foodie’s Paradise! This is the type of place that serves generous portion sizes and kick ass food. The team at Highlight really love their customers and creating satisfying dishes with attention to ingredients.
Crunchy French Toast $12.95
Coated with crispy cornflakes and berries. Cool presentation, and generous portion size. Comes with Syrup and Blueberry sauce.

Two soft poached free-run eggs on a toasted Buttermilk biscuit, fried chicken hollandaise sauce, house spice, hand-cut hash browns.

$$ Affordable! Fair pricing. $10-$20 with tax and tip.
QUALITY:
Excellent! Made fresh, and hot! Lots of ingredients made in-house. Delicious Buttermilk biscuits and fried chicken.
The quail egg, coleslaw, and sauces are very good.
Portion size is generous. Presentation is mouthwatering.
SERVICE:
Friendly, and fun. They love food, and care about making the customer happy.
VERDICT:
Never go to Denny’s or IHOP ever again. The Highlight Cafe is everything you want in a brunch spot. The food is delicious, and the prices are fair for the amount of food.
