Gutom Staff Peaceful Restaurant Seymour and Dunsmuir Downtown Vancouver.
You’re better off at Chinese food at a Mall Food Court!
We previously reviewed Peaceful Restaurant’s Kingsway location and enjoyed the Chicken Noodle Soup and overall quality.
Unfortunately, Peaceful Restaurant’s downtown location at Dunsmuir and Seymour
lacks the quality of the other locations. BEWARE!
Chicken Noodle Soup $10.95
No flavor. The portion size is small compared to other locations.
The noodles were not Blade Sheared. Greasy soup.
Shanghai Noodles $12.95
Expensive. Small portion size. Very little meat and veggies.
Extremely oily. Tasteless.
SO.
MUCH.
OIL.
PRICE:
$$ Affordable but not worth it at this location!
QUALITY:
Bad quality. Tasteless and greasy.
Extremely oily soup. Lacked flavor.
Extremely oily stir fried noodles, tasteless.
Portion size seemed small. There were too many spinach stems in the soup.
The Xiao Long Bao seemed consistent with other locations.
SERVICE:
Bad. Wait time for table at lunch. Servers are rude.
We complained to the server after meal and the server didn’t care.
VERDICT:
Peaceful Restaurant is generally good but this location at Dunsmuir is THE WORST!
