Korea Noodle House is now open in Burnaby! Serving authentic kalguksu noodle soup. Currently Soft Opening, people line up as early as 1-2 hours before opening!
Make sure you are added to the wait-list. There are limited number of seats during the lunch time. When the list is full then they won’t accept any more!
Lunch Time opens promptly at 11AM. However on this day, the lunch wait-list was full before doors open. Expect to wait, there are benches outside the restaurant.
Lunch is 11AM – 2:30PM
Dinner is 4:30PM – 9:30PM
When inside the restaurant you can store your belongings in the pull-out seat, but remember to take them when you leave!

Ginseng Chicken Kalguksu and Kimchi Pancake
Kalguksu is handmade, knife-cut wheat flour noodles. Hearty soup for seasonal weather or any day!
VERDICT
PRICE – Affordable. Combo 1 (2 dishes) works out to $18 per dish.
QUALITY – Good portion size. Kalguksu is all about the noodles and there’s plenty of yummy noodles cooked just right. Tasty broth good flavours and good amount of chicken.
SERVICE – Friendly service, organized line with number and wait-list. After seating, expect another wait for 10-15 minutes for food from kitchen.
MENU – Only a few items. Would be nice if Combo 1 had more choices than just the pancake. No dumplings on the menu.
OVERALL – Satisfied. Nice new Korean restaurant in Burnaby. Burnaby has no shortage of Korean restaurants. This is not the only Korean restaurant with noodles and BBQ. However, the Chicken kalgaksu is a highlight with authentic flavour. If you are brave enough for the hour+ wait, come for the authentic noodle soup. This is a noodle soup restaurant, so other dishes may not be their specialty.
Arrive 1-1.5 hour before opening to get on the wait-list.
