Milk and Sugar BBQ Bar has taken over the old Bamboo Cafe location at Joyce
Skytrain Station.

This business offers Chinese food (Hong Kong Cantonese style) with
Western items like Fries, and Onion Rings.

You can get BBQ Pork, BBQ Duck, Bubble Tea, Beer and more!

A cafe with a pub atmosphere, or a pub with a cafe atmosphere.

Mozzarella sticks $4.75

Cheese not melted enough and no dip sauce.

BBQ Duck on Rice $7.99 (Comes with Milk Tea)

Good portion size. Nice veggies and rice. The BBQ Duck was ok but a little bony, and not enough meat. No dipping sauce for the duck.

Breakfast SpecialĀ  $5.99 (Comes with Milk Tea)

A standard breakfast with regular toast bread. No French Toast typical of HK Breakfast. Fries were ok. Eggs were nice sunny side up. Greasy but expected.

Beer $4.25 (28oz) served in plastic mug.

No chilled glass for beer.

PRICE:
$-$$ Affordable. Cheap menu.

QUALITY:
Ok portion size. Breakfast was just ok. No french toast. Cheese sticks not melted enough. No marinara sauce.
BBQ Duck portion bony, not enough meat.
Beer served in cheap plastic mug. Milk tea was good.

SERVICE:
Order and pay at the counter or sit at the bar.

VERDICT:
Overall positive experience. Chinese style pub grub with cheap menu. Bubble tea and Beer. Good location, for diverse crowd. Will return to try more of the menu. Ventilation needs work at this restaurant you will smell liked fried food!
