Clarion Hotel Post is located across from Gothenburg’s Central Station in a historic former post office.
Art Deco meets Scandinavian style, the hotel was designed by Semrén & Månsson Architectural. It features a conference center, restaurant, bar, lounge and rooftop pool.

Norda offers a unique brunch experience in hip surroundings.
The Brunch at Norda: An impressive All You Can Eat cold salad bar, charcuterie, and dessert buffet. The Brunch includes one warm entree from the kitchen. Choose from flank steak, burger and fries, cod fish and potatoes, and more.
At 315 Swedish Kroners ($36 USD, or $46 Canadian)
it is definitely not a cheap brunch, but the variety and quality make this buffet well worth it.
Cheeses, meats, bread, veggies, pickled herring, raw salmon, cakes, cookies and more. This is the perfect example of the Swedish Smörgåsbord!
There is a strictly enforced 2 hour sitting/eating time limit.
However, you are allowed to continue enjoying the dessert bar,
tea and coffee in the lounge area.
The space is very large, and at night it is turned into a nightclub bar.
What We Ordered
Entree – Hamburger (Slider Size) and Fries.
Cheddar cheese, tomato, chipotle mayonnaise, salad, and fires.
– It was good. too small portion size, a little overdone.
Entree – Flank Steak
Spinach, mushroom, red wine sauce & fries.
– Dry on outside, but moist on the inside.
Entree – Cod Fish and Potatoes
Dill, mussel, & roe cream sauce.
-Very good, tender.
VALUE:
All You Can Eat and not cheap but not overly expensive.
QUALITY:
Excellent variety, and attention to fresh quality.
SERVICE:
Friendly, fast service at the time of this visit.
VERDICT:
Very good brunch for special occasions in a
historic building.
OBSERVATIONS:
There were no eggs in the buffet. No Scrambled eggs, no hard boiled eggs.
Eating / Sitting time strictly enforced to 2 hours.
