KOREAN CULTURAL HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2018 – VANCOUVER FOOD REVIEWS – GUTOM.CA

Korean Cultural Heritage Festival at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby August 4, 2018. A fun family event with entertainment, and food! There was Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration, traditional music, and even modern kpop.

What We Ordered:

Bulgogi $10
Beef and Rice. It was ok. Not the most flavorful, and the portion size was small for $10.

Deep Fried Dumplings (Pork, 5 Pieces) $5
Originally the vendor advertised 4 Pieces for $5 but they decided to add another dumpling. Good portion size, and at $1 a piece, good deal.

Unlike previous years at Korean Cultural Heritage Festival, the City of Burnaby didn’t have a drinking water station. One of the city employees at the venue said that all the water pipes were used by the vendors, thus no drinking water station. Very bad especially in the heat! There was only 1 drinking water fountain at the back of the stadium and a line-up.

Maybe in 2019, they will have the water station back. Buying bottled water from the vendors is not good.
