Ordered Okonomi topped with Bonito flakes and fries seasoned with SHICHIMI & GARLIC. Total $11.50.
Red Bean Icy and Mango Strawberry Icy.
The lines for popular food trucks are very long. Add to that the wait to get your food, and you will be waiting quite a long time. Be prepared for the wait, and the heat.
The wait for Mogu was unusually very long, but worth the wait in the heat in the end. The chicken karaage was great.
Hurricane Potato was very good. Long wait here too.
Japadog is always a good food option. Can’t go wrong with Japanese hot dog with bonito flakes. Long wait.
Fusion Icy was very good too. Good portion size, and ingredients. Short line.

They recently did some interior renovation to the space so it now looks more modern.
The menu changes daily. However you’ll find the favorites tandoori and butter chicken always in the buffet.

WORST BUFFET IN THE PHILIPPINES?
DADS World Buffet in the Philippines features international food. It is very popular with locals.
The buffet is large, with lots to choose from. Western, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino cuisine.
This buffet is a little different from what you might expect in North America. You might be shocked!
If you are travelling to the Philippines, this may NOT be a good buffet for you as you may be at risk of stomach illness. There are better buffets in Manila!
At the time of our visit, many dishes were not replenished. The temperature, and food safety was questionable.
The cook at the BBQ station used the same knife for cutting raw meats, and cutting cooked dishes to be served.
The food is mostly uncovered, and exposed to air without proper heat lamps.
It could have been the time of evening that the dishes were not replenished.
Ended up eating mostly Sukiyaki noodles in some soup, with vegetables because it was food safe temperature.
DADS World Buffet is good for entertaining family, as there is a band that goes around the restaurant performing songs. Fun atmosphere but food quality is poor.
Overall, should have went to Vikings instead!

flavors China, Italy, Australia, Mexico, and France.
These are the last two items on the World Taste Tour at McDonald’s Canada.
Aussie BBQ + Egg Burger
Egg, Beet chips, cheese, lettuce,
smoky BBQ sauce, brioche-style bun.
Nice amount of cheese, egg. Crispy chips were good.
The brioche bun was nice and warm.
The burger patty was a good temperature.
French Crème Brûlée McFlurry
Vanilla soft serve, caramelized sugar topping
and Crème Brûlée sauce.
The French Crème Brûlée McFlurry was very good.
But some of the sugar topping was too hard and
bad for the teeth!
Overall, the Aussie BBQ Burger and
the French McFlurry are surprisingly good!
The McDonald’s dining experience definitely varies at each location, and time of day. This location was at Burnaby Metrotown, and the quality was pretty good, considering it is fast-food.
